This page gives you a simple and secure way to send in a commission. Just follow the payment link below to access our secure Stripe portal. From there, enter the amount you’d like to contribute, along with any helpful notes (like the project name or type of work).

We always encourage photographers to ensure they’re paid first before sending anything through.

Why This Page Exists

We’ve created this to keep things transparent and easy—no long email threads or awkward follow-ups. This central page helps handle things quickly, securely, and in a way that supports the entire community.

All payments are processed through Stripe, a trusted global platform. When you click the button below, you’ll be taken to a secure payment page where your information is protected.

Note: We operate in USD, so please calculate the referral fee using the current exchange rate before submitting.


Snapshot: How This Page Works & Why It Exists

1. Who is this page for?
This page is for any HSM member who’s received a paid project where Headshots Matter helped in some way—whether through a gallery listing, social post, email campaign, or a connection made through the community.

2. Is there a required amount I should send?
No—the amount is completely up to you. Some members base it on 5–10% of the project value (before tax), while others choose a flat amount. It’s about what feels right and fair to you.
(In some cases, HSM collaborators may have a specific percentage rate agreed upon.)

3. Does this apply to personal referrals too?
If another member referred you directly and you’d like to thank them, feel free to reach out to them personally. This page is meant for situations where HSM’s systems, visibility, or community helped you land the project.

4. Will I get a receipt for my payment?
Yes—Stripe will send you a confirmation email as soon as your payment is submitted. If you don’t receive one, just email us and we’ll get a copy sent right away.

5. Can I contribute even if I’m not an Associate Member?
Absolutely. All HSM members—Creative or Associate—can use this page if they feel HSM helped them get work.

6. What happens to the funds sent in?
Referral payments help HSM stay sustainable so we can keep creating opportunities, building partnerships, and offering support to photographers across the community.
