As a Kansas City Headshot Photographer, with a studio in Overland Park, my mission is to help my clients build confidence and look the best they can. My headshot photography utilizes expression coaching throughout the photo session which creates images that portrays a confident and inviting look. My clients learn how to portray a confident yet warm and inviting expression to break down the fear barrier to potential customers.

My images are clean, modern and create a confident yet approachable look. Our headshot session walks you through an expression coaching process using real-time image viewing for immediate feedback and adjustment for your perfect look.

Your website is your window to the world of customers. Your headshot is your digital handshake in a world where online introductions are more common than in person. You need headshot photography images that have punch. You need headshots that stop people from scrolling by and dig deeper. My headshot technique and expression coaching will do just that. Your customers will stop at your window and want to come in.

My repeatable process will give your website a uniform modern look. Your staffing page will look like a portrait gallery, the way it should, not a quilt with different patterns and colors. Your profile portrait will stand out in the scrolling and make people stop for a second look.

If you're serious about standing out in the sea of profile pics, contact me today for a free headshot photography consultation to learn how I can help your personal and company brand look uniform, modern and unique.

What Others Are Saying

“Brian was an absolute professional and captured images beyond my expectations. He took me from a nervous, camera-shy person to someone who felt confident and empowered to take my career to the next level. Highly recommend!”

“Working with Brian was a joy – I tend to shy away from photos, so a headshot was not something I looked forward to initially. However, Brian’s professional approach, explanation of the science of photography, and determination to make the experience fun – caught me happily by surprise. I recommend Brian to any and all that are searching for a headshot. Fantastic photographer and wonderful guy!”

“This was my first headshot experience and I couldn’t imagine a better outcome! Brian’s work stood out to me as exceptional and I believe that is because his process is unique. He made us feel comfortable every step of the way, put no pressure on us to buy more photos than we needed and was overall a blast to work with!”

A Few Things People Ask Me

1. What happens when I arrive for my session?
We’ll start by looking at your wardrobe together. The goal is to decide what works best, what you feel most comfortable in, and what each look communicates. From there, we’ll shift focus to the most important part of your headshot—your expression.

2. Do you help with expressions?
Yes. Most people are already photogenic—they just don’t know it yet. I’ll coach you through expressions that make you look approachable and confident. Expression coaching is a big part of every session.

3. How many looks do I get?
We’ll photograph you in multiple outfits, adjusting your expression and presence each time. By the end, you’ll have a variety of options that work across LinkedIn, your website, social platforms, or even a business card.

4. Can I see my photos during the session?
Absolutely. We’ll sit down together, review your images in real time, and narrow them down to a strong, manageable set. You’ll be able to see what’s working and make choices you feel good about.

5. How does image purchasing work?
There’s no pressure and no minimums. Once you’ve reviewed your session gallery, you can select only the images you need. Some people want one image across every platform, others prefer different looks for LinkedIn, Instagram, or their website. You decide what’s right for you.

6. Do you offer packages?
No packages and no upselling. My goal is to provide you with professional images you’re excited to share—nothing more, nothing less. Word of mouth is what keeps my business strong, and I want you leaving the studio feeling proud of your headshots.
