Associate Member of Headshots Matter

Not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. It can feel awkward—even overwhelming at times. That’s where I come in.

As a recovering introvert, I know what it’s like to not want to be the centre of attention. My aim is to put you at ease right from the first contact. From the simple booking form to a personal pre-shoot consultation, I’ll guide you with a thoughtful approach so you can feel relaxed and confident.

Whether you’re an actor, author, musician, entrepreneur, or business professional, I’m not focused on a trendy pose—I’m focused on the emotion of the moment. At the end of the day, it’s not just about taking pictures, it’s about creating a story that reflects who you truly are.

What Others Are Saying

“Warren Shepherd is a gifted photographer! As an author, I've been photographed by professional photographers many times over the decades, including those working for major magazines and newspapers, and Warren's photos are some of the very best ever taken of me. I'm delighted with the outcome, but I also want to say how delighted I was with the photo session. Warren is friendly and warm, and he did a fabulous job of putting me at ease. Highly recommended!”

ROBERT J. SAWYER, Hugo and Nebula Award-winning sci-fi author

A Few Things People Ask Me

1. What kinds of headshots do you offer?
I specialize in portraits that capture the unique character of each person. My services include Editorial Portraits, Business Headshots, Actor Headshots, Celebrity Portraits, Social Media Images, Author Portraits, and Musician Portraits. However, creativity knows no bounds — I’m always open to exploring new ideas to bring your vision to life.

2. Where is your studio located?
For individual portraits, I work from my home studio in Central Etobicoke. For Corporate Headshots, I will travel to your location with my mobile setup for your convenience.

3. What is an Editorial Session with you like?
When you book an Editorial Session with me, you get my undivided attention for up to two hours. We will take our time to build on the foundation we created during our pre-shoot, “getting to know you” stage to create a unique gallery that tells your story.

4. Do you photograph teams or travel to offices?
Absolutely. For your convenience, I will come to your location anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area with my mobile setup to provide quick, polished headshots without you having to leave your office.

5. How do I book a Portrait Session with you?
Nothing could be easier! The first step is to get in touch. Once you've submitted a contact form, through questionnaires and conversations, I can fine tune exactly what it is you're looking for and how and when to schedule a session.
